that is not how it works man.

but i guess  off screen play is a gimmick?

what about Zombi U? that makes  a large use of the gamepad .

what about the asymatry is has given?

what about the  nintendo land games? they show many great uses.

what about the precision input that you get from a resistive screen? because of it you can put MMO's and RTS games on the system!

im sorry man you are totally off base. It is not a gimmick and you just want it to be.

ZombiU from all the critic and user reviews isn't that good, so I haven't bothered with it. Maybe the game uses the GamePad but the game itself according to most people isn't good?

The off-screen play is great, but it doesn't work for every game which is what the consumer assumes when purchasing a Wii U.

Nintendo Land I will actually agree is the best game on the Wii U that utilizes that GamePad, and I've had a blast playing Nintendo Land. I would love to buy another game like Nintendo Land that uses the GamePad as well, but there is currently nothing out there.

I doubt we will see an MMO come to the Wii U, because games like Diablo 3, Warframe and FFXIV are the biggest MMOs coming out for the consoles right now and Nintendo has already missed out on that.

I could see a game like Blizzard's Hearthstone being used on the GamePad.

If this was on the Wii U, the console would sell like crazy. It's casual and made by Blizzard, everyone buys Blizzard games. If Diablo 3 can come to the PS3/PS4 which is something nobody was expecting, I don't see why this game couldn't come to the Wii U. It would make the GamePad a huge deal again.

See? I'm not so negative, I do have faith that the GamePad is going to eventually grow like all consoles do. But when I say it's a gimmick, I am saying at this point in time with the current games available I've found hardly any use for the GamePad which is very sad. If someone asks me "hey is the GamePad cool" this is what I would tell them.

*gasp* someone already brought up the idea, shame it's not getting much attention  :(

You actually believe the resistive screen would be good for MMOs and RTS games? I don't see how, but ideas are always welcome.

Most reveiwers did not understand the game. And  frankly  it should not matter, it shows  the gamepad reatures off well and  you cannot say "well ...  i dont count it .... because "

and  offscreen doe not have to work for every game, it is there and it is  available for most games....   not every feature has to be used for every game, just makes you sound petty.

Actually a resistive screen would be PERFECT for a MMO, one hand  controls the character movement  or aim, the other  for skills. Sorry you cant see  what it is perfect for just because its convenient.

hell with real time strategy  you get drag and drop,  and then  press any of the buttons to modify the  touch input before touching to  act. its not rocket science.

and yes you are hell of a negative person.

Game and Wario dropped a couple days ago wouldn't that be up your alley then in terms of a game that heavily utilizes the gamepad?

Don't know is it any good?

According to a lot of people it's not as good as previous installments. I don't buy brand new games unless they get really good reviews. I'll probably pick it up eventually when it's cheaper.

It was originally supposed to be a tech demo, the wario aspect of it was added later. The last game I played that was originally a tech demo was when I wanted to start collecting for the PS2 in chronological order and started with Fantavision...That is also where I stopped collecting in order XD I hated that game.... Not that its a direct reflection but if it was a proper warioware game I feel they would have called it wario ware

That's pretty disappointing.
