I preordered Project X Zone, to make sure I get the Limited Edition copy with the soundtrack and all that, but haven't picked it up yet. I'm waiting until the last moment when I have the extra money. So um, has the full game appeared on eShop as well, and if so how much is the digital copy? Just wondering. There's a demo of it on there, I hear.

The Limited Edition is basically the first print of the game. You should have no trouble finding it. As for the eShop version, I'm pretty sure its the same price.

I decided to pick this game up today and am enjoying it. Basically, this game seems to be a combination of a strategy RPG and a fighter. It was said in a status update that there are two manuals with the game, and that is because one is in another language. I have it too, so I guess it's normal. I haven't played this game for long but one of my natural talents, as unusual as it may seem, is that I can rate a game early on and almost always be happy with my score later on. I would score this game 8.5/10 in the 20-25 minutes I played. Meaning that it's a buyable game.

I am currently sitting at 4 hours and 30 minutes played on PxZ and that's in a single sitting. That alone should speak to the overall quality of this title, the music is great, being a mix of original tracks for PxZ and also remixed tracks from each game represented in this crossover. The graphics aren't top-notch and the 3D didn't add too much in my opinion, however, the 2D sprites are amazing and there is great, and flashy animations to the battles, this keeps the battles very interesting. Speaking of the battles, the gameplay is very similar to that of Final Fantasy Tactics and somewhat to that of Fire Emblem. Basically, you control a whole bunch of characters on a map, each one has it's own turn, their turn is determined by their speed, the characters are able to roam freely within their movement range and stop when you either attack or choose to stop, separate from this you can use various skills an items. Once you are in battle, the game seems to turn into an extremely simple fighting game, but once you get into it, you will find it to be quite complex, and to make the best of each attack that you take you will want to use each move with good timing, and use crossover attacks and cross locks to your advantage. I obviously cannot give my full review on this game (and I didn't intend to write even this much :/) but so far, I am absolutely loving Project X Zone and think it is very much so worth the purchase. Pick this game up if you have any interest in what I have said, it's worth it! :D

The digital game is $34.99, $5 cheaper, I found out. I wish all digital games were cheaper.

This is so xenogears. I wish they would use this engine to make a full blown rpg on 3ds.

But especially since ive been replaying xenogears, this is so nostalgic. Its like nothing but super roided out deathblows of gloriousness.

I mean the story is worthless (yet still amusing, frank west is cracking me up), the gameplay near worthless for a strategy rpg so far (still in the beginning, by no means a final judgement) and i just dont care.

I bought this game soley for seeing characters that should never have been forgotten see life again.

I mean, it brought back shining force, freaking bruce will-er bruno dillinger, arthur, bahn.

Its awesome.

Just... Whats up with Tronn's butt? Seriously Monolithsoft, what is your obsession with tronns butt?
