Tvii isn't special anyway. You aren't missing out on much,

I'd me more interested in TVii id Nintendo partnered with Logitech and combined the TVii app with the Harmony remote technology. Along with an ability to work with complex systems that have a receiver plus a HDMI splitter. Heck, I'd be happy with the ability to build a custom remote screen and program each button manually.

I really want NintendoTvii here in the UK. I think why they are taking their time is that Europe contains many countries with many TV services. Each one has to go through deals to allow content, apps created etc.
For example the UK has to get BBC iPlayer, Channel 4 OD, ITV Player, incorporate Netflix and LoveFilm, on top of possible cable and Satalite deals. My guess with VirginMedia as they have TiVo. And NintendoTvii is supposed to work with your Tivo box to record and play your recorded TV shows right? So they may be working on getting that working for the United Kingdom, especially as we were the first to get Netflix and LoveFilm.
However they're gonna have to do this for EVERY country in Europe! So it's going to take time. Either they'll launch all over Europe simultaneously by Holiday 2014, OR they'll launch periodically with th UK, France, Germany and Spain by holiday 2013 and move to surrounding countries over the course of 2014

Maybe if Nintendo of Europe can't bring the same TVii experience to all European countries exactly like the American TVii, they could instead use TVii as an enhanced TV Remote app that would allows to control our current DVR devices.
Now Playing: Super Mario Galaxy (Wii), The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (Wii)
NNID: IvyTamwood PSN: Regithiel

I don't know if they would go with TiVo here. I'm sure Sky is much more popular.

I've got more of a feeling that its Virgin Media, because I have a feeling Sky have done a deal with Microsoft for the XBO.
...and personally I'd love it to be Virgin Media as I have virgin media
