I was wondering if anyone else who is a member of Club Nintendo got an email for a survey to earn 10 extra coins regarding Nintendo products?
In this survey they asked if i knew about the Xbox One and PS4 and if i was planning to buy one. I told the truth and said "no". I am wondering if Nintendo is just trying to guage some of their loyal customers to find out if they are switching or maybe planning on upping their game?

I think it's just a randomly sent out survey. I've gotten a couple of those, usually around Christmas time.
