Atus has shown equal love with both companies, especially with exclusive games that are so good. I'll make it short and sweet.

 

Sony - Home of the Persona series and great multiplatform shared with Microsoft.

 

Nintendo - Epic Atlus handheld games always coming with bonus goodies.....Not really big on Nintendo's consoles besides Shin Megami Tense X Fire Emblem.

 

 

I actually chose Sony because they never failed on a Sony platform, the Persona series is just so godlike it doesn't go multiplatform................God damn i have a feeling Persona 5 will be Multiplatform with Xbox One just like FF15 & KH3.

 

 

But if Nintendo wants to stand a chance against their competitors especially the doom & gloom they are getting week by week, it would be smart of them to buy Atlus as quickly as possible, because I know Sony has their eye on them and will eventually strike a move with Atlus in this year's Tokyo Game Show.

Microsoft would benefit most from this because of their lack of sales in Japan.

I really don't care who owns it though.

Frankly, given the choice between Sony/Nintendo, Nintendo should.

 

Yes, Sony has Persona, but Nintendo has a couple other series as well. Series like Trauma Center/Team, Etrian Odyssey, and most recently the Shin Megami Tensei titles.

 

I feel that Atlus is a bit more at home with Nintendo in the first place, really. Still, I'd like it all the same if nobody bought Atlus and Atlus just stayed...well, Atlus.

I feel that Atlus's money making franchise is Persona which is currently sony exclusive (Except Persona 4 Arena). So in order for them to continue to thrive, they should be bought out by Sony...IF they were to be bought.

 

Nintendo doesn't need Atlus to get better support from third party developers. I feel they need more support from LARGER companies, such as EA, Activision, Ubisoft, Capcom, (the companies yall don't like) etc... in order to pull in sales.

Well, look at it this way. Atlus has one major franchise with Sony. They have at least three or four with Nintendo, all of which are also major money makers.

 

Besides...it's not like Persona could never be on a Nintendo console.
