if ur not a fanboy, why buy a ps4 at release date and may end up with a problematic hardware. All consoles have hardware flaws at the start... Wii U fixed most of its problems, ps4 havent...
Only the core fans buy a ps4 at release date. I will consider ps4 to, but after a year or two..
That's such a pessimistic and cynical view. The only consoles I've had problems with are the Xbox 360 and Wii U and the Wii U issues are minor. I've bought pretty much all the consoles in the last 15-20 years at launch. I never had problems with my PS1, PS2 or PS3. My PS3 is a US launch 60GB model and still going strong after all these years. The Xbox One I might be concerned about but the PS4 certainly not.

Seriously. You spent all your money for a Wii U because of Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Bros. Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Bros. are planned to come out next year.
Good choice

Pc market is the same thing, u never buy something at release date... Its not something new... I ve had ps1, ps2, xbox1, gamecube, wii, snes, etc.. without problems.. I never run in the stores to get them from day 1 though... But since consoles become more pc wise, they have lots of problems. U said it ur self, xbox360, wii U, ps3 also with a yellow death light, etc etc... It is not safe for someone who dont care much about ps4 or wii U, to buy them from day 1. Its wise to wait a bit.
Wii U is a safe buy now... xbox 360 never made it and ps3 always brakes after 3 years of use... I dont know why...

You're still making a mountain out of a molehill and just scaremongering. There is nothing wrong what so ever in buying a new console at launch.

maybe because we live in a different country... In my country, if we buy something and its faulty, u turn it in and they send u a used one... And that is not accepted by me... They cheat on us and dont allow us to take refund or exchange it with a new one.
So I am not... the things u said.
Microsoft did the same thing to me with xbox 360 and I ve made it to take a new one, after 5 months!!! I was without a console for 5 months, because I denyed to recieve any reserviced. And thats why I am not buying microsoft products anymore.
