That's only two days worth of Pikmin but lets face facts, the WiiU is doing very very badly. Don't help that UK stores are stopping selling the WiiU.

Everyone is saying the Wii U is selling badly but... if you look at past generation console launches, it's basically selling normally. 

[Portal]

The WiiU sold almost 3 times as many as last week and in 2 days Pikmin 3 sold almost 100k. According to Famitsu sales numbers for Pikmin and Pikmin 2 on GCN, this is pretty good. I'm thinking 200k overall Pikmin 3 sales by the end of next week. Maybe 50k WiiU's sold.

Im not sure what to think, I was expecting more sales from P3 (expecting 170,000) and I was hoping for Wii U to hit at least 40,000. Im sure it will pickup tho...

Pikmin 3 did it`s job.

Pikmin was never a great franchise in Japan to begin with. So, about 100k is very good. And the lift is in line with the franchise anyway. The real question is if it can lift weekly sales. If it can, it`s a system seller!

So 101 is next, I really can't see that game moving units but that's just me. I think wii u will come around probably when DK tropical freeze comes out.

Let's wait and see if these sales can be maintained, 101 will see a smaller push, but a push nonetheless. The Wii U has just started its long journey into success. Hopefully.
