£49.99, seems like they've taken an increase. That comes out to a little over $76 USD which is absurdity, but for all you Britosh people, how does this effect you? Especially considering the US only has to pay $59.99, and X360 game prices were around £40 from what I see.

gamestop here have set their price for x1 games and ps4 at around 65 euro, which is about 9 million usd.I take it I was right and that is a high price for all of you in the UK and surrounding areas
I don't know about the UK as I'm not there, but the prices were about £5 less than that this gen.
nothing has inflated.Inflated development costs/they like money.
They've come to terms with HD by now surely, there's no excuse for higher prices now, except that they want more money for a half-complete game, then sell you the rest as DLC.

I have a hard time paying £40 for a game. The only game I ever payed for at £50 was the Xenoblade controller bundle. The prices games are at the moment are seriously putting me off buying games I would usually buy. I may just stick to buying 3DS games right now as their about £32.

Online retail stores typically sell below MSRP so they should be cheaper then that. Both consoles are region free if it works out cheaper ill just import my games.

It's worse in Australia. We pay about $108 (about the same in American dollars) for a brand new game on the Wii/360/PS3.
Who knows how much the next gen games will cost.
