Nothing is going to sway me on buying that system... I've said it once, I'll say it again... Microsoft lost my purchase at trying to scam me over.

Good for them but they lost a customer for life where I'm concerned. This not only shows poor decision making but also lack of confidence and worst... if they can reverse all these policies now, who's to say in a few years they won't reverse them again? They were so confident that digital was the way to go, doing a complete 180 about ALL their stances on everything just makes them look like fools to me. And yeah, maybe Nintendo does make some poor decisions in some fields, but at least their consistent about their beliefs and stances.

Nice. Release without the Kinect and then you'll have a lot more buyers, Microsoft. You're making all of the right choices now.

Backtracking you mean. It's good that they're doing this, but if you think you're in the right, go ahead. I find this kinda sad.
Some people always have a cellphone on them. I'm so awesome I always have a 3DS.

Very smart move.
Doesn't mean I'm any more interested in it, but very smart move.
The post above was certified to be simply smashing by the Wii U Forum Staff.

It doesn't matter what they do, people won't be satisfied. They introduce controversial policies, people spaz out, they remove them, and Microsoft is scared and only doing it for the money. Obviously! Money is the point of ANY company. I'm not blind enough to not see that Microsoft is doing this for the money. I just don't care. I play games. I don't invest emotions into consoles or a company. I don't care what Sony, Microsoft, or Nintendo do or say as long as I get to play quality games.

If MS decides to lower the price of the XB1 and not raise the prices of games, The Wii U is screwed ಠ.ಠ

Like the old saying goes " You cant polish a turd"
Microsoft released all that Xbox One info at E3 and almost everything about it was all about how can we screw the consumer harder...
So no amount of this 180 turn around nonsense will convince me to get this console...
They spent years upon years of research and development to make the Xbox One what it was and then over night just flipped a switch and completely reversed everything it was about.... Whats to stop them from flipping that switch back on?

it will take alot more than simply reversing policies to take back sonys current thunder.
microsoft doing all they can to stop a PS2/GC/xbox repeat.

What repeat my friend
1. The xbox was the most powerful out of the whole three.
2. The xbox sold more than GBC.
To be honest I don't even know who to trust anymore .

I don't think all of this reversing was a great idea. I believe they should've taken a deep breath, closely examined the complaints, and done something different.
1. Sure, let indys self-publish. You don't need to restrict the influx of much needed games.
2. Don't do a whole Xbox 180 on the gam policy, instead compromise. The online activation thing was actually pretty awesome, where you don't need to have your game disk yet can still play it at your friends. But allow people to either exchange their (probably limited to) unused activation key for a keyless disk, or have the Xbox be capable of offline activation (like you type in the key and the xbox generates a code, then you call or mail Microsoft and they will send you a code that will activate that game for that console). Probably both.
