I think I might go to one of the stores soon to go check out some of the TVs
So you're saying that theres not much difference between 720p and 1080p?

It depends on what size tv you are getting. For smaller hdtvs it is not, for bigger ones it is. But the true way to find out if you notice a difference between televisions with different resolutions at any size is based on the buyers' eyes. So it is up to you to see if the higher resolution tv is worth it.

I think I've decided what TV I'm getting!! After so long!! :laugh:

I've looked around the store (and others) and this seems to be the best option for meh :laugh:

But I'm about £85 short (christmas drained me) D: I'm trying to see if I can find a site that sells them cheaper now :laugh:

Oh, and is it worth getting insurance? :S (whatever happens support)

That is a good tv. Getting insurance or an extended warranty is always good. An electronics may break down at anytime.

You do not have too. It just of you want protection for your tv. If you think you can't get the money you can do with out it. Also you should look into getting some HDMI cables, probably 1.3 cables. You can get some decent ones for cheap, but beware some are poorly build.

What are hdmi cables?

Basically a cable that allows HD audio and video to be displayed on your TV from a game system or Blu-ray player. The standard yellow, white, and red audio/video cables that these devices come with doesn't allow for HD.

A TV that works would be a good start, then try to find all the other information of that TV on the internet, find a store near you, save money, and buy the TV!
