HI everyone,

 

With July ending in only 2 days, I thought it would be really interesting for people to post their July stats from their Daily Log on the Wii U.

 

On August 1st, I am asking that everyone post their stats here ... just go to your Daily Log icon, click it then in the upper right hand corner change it to month instead of day, then scroll back to July...

 

Post about how long you have the system ... total hours the system was used in July

 

then your top 10 applications used and how much time each was used.

 

I think that this will give us a good picture of what is going on with everyone here and how they are using their Wii U ... hope you join this post in 2 days.

Isn't there a way to post screenshots from your Wii U to Facebook?

Well I don't have a social media site, so I am not sure ... also, I am not sure if you can just take a pic of anything on the Pads screen and post it wherever you want.   For example, in Super Mario Wii U, you can take in game screen shots but you can only post them to that miiverse community or maybe facebook or something, but outside of playing a game, I am not sure if you can take a screen shot of "the system home screen"  or other programs and such.

That's a shame, Nintendo should really implement that feature in the next system update. But I'll still share my July log once Aug 1 is here.

As a matter of fact, now that I think about it, I remember someone from Nintendo stating there is not social media site integration nor are there any plans for there to be ... They said they don't have Facebook but if they did, they would use it to communicate with their friends and family about traveling experiences or things like that and they don't think anyone would care what latest item they got for their house in animal crossing, but other gamers might, and that is why miiverse is the place for those sorts of things, a place for gamers.

Ok gang, here is my usage for the MONTH OF JULY 

 

Total Hours 132 hours 16 Minutes

 

Top 10 Applications used and time used

 

1.  Internet Browser 39:25

First of all I have to note that I bought the Wii U on 7-27-13, so I did spend a lot of time looking over every game in the eShop and I expect this number to go down next month.

 

What is most shocking to me is the amount of time spent using the Browser and Miiverse ... this was completely unexpected and it goes to shows you, NIntendo did a great job with the Browser, hands down the best Browser on any video game system and I can not see how PS4 or XBOX one will beat it.

 

This also goes to show you that the Wii U is a social device...I would have never thought I would spend so much time in Miiverse!
