Actually, the gaming division had a loss this quarter due to R&D as mentioned in the article, which is suprising considering that the gaming division is normally a profitable one.
The really interesting news to me is that Sony's bundling both PS3/Ps2 sales and PSP/PSV sales. The later has been common ever since some time in 2012 after the Vita launched, but the article says that sales are lagging behind compared to last year. Then again, last year didn't have the PS4 coming for $100 more then the best version of PS3, so it's only logical sales are down.
Games that refuse to use Gameplay effectively to do anything are like films that refuse to use cinematography in film to do anything.
