today when playing on my WiiU, the first time in ages actually only to try the 101 demo, when pressing the buttons that show up on the pad even in the normal WiiU menus, nothing happens & i have to keep prodding at the screen, is my screen on the way out ?

 

anyone else had these problems ?

 

sometimes even instead of pressing the ( button on the screen i press the physical ( button nothing happens either.

 

if my pad is broken i will not be happy at all

Call Nintendo, they should help you get a replacement if needed.

i now have a error 116-1006 but it is not listed on the WiiU help site 

 

this is getting silly now !

Its still under warranty so just call Nintendo's customer support and get it replaced.

i have not tried it today yet, i want to try & find out what that error code means first.

Ninitendo is good with support. Call and they will help you.

You can try and figure it out on your own... Or you can just call Nintendo and let them fix their problem. It's their job to deal with it and they do a great job at it. Let them help you. The sooner you call them, the sooner it gets fixed.

I had this problem and found out it was the screen protector so that might be it

it seems to be a intermittent issue with my screen i might give them a call.
