Ok so I just preordered my Zelda wiiu bundle today, and plan on picking up the following games, is there any more not on my list I should look into. Thanks

You seem to have money to burn. Should you ever have no foreseeable method to burn it I am, and always will be available.
Anyway to answer your question, maybe Arkham City if you haven't played it already.

LEGO City, Nintendo Land (if you have enough people to play it with), Arkham City, Sonic Lost World, Mario 3D World, Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze and Tekken Tag Tournament 2.
And maybe a loan to go with those.

There's also great family-friendly games such as Nintendo Land, Wii Party U and possibly Game & Wario (if you're into the style of WarioWare).
The eShop also has great content including Trine 2, Runner 2 and Toki Tori 2.

Lego City is the best Lego game of all time. Nintendo Land is fun if you've got a person or two to play with locally. Need For Speed is fun and likely cheap. Rayman Legends is getting great reviews. And of course, the future Fall lineup looks great.
I dont even own lego city and i can agree with this.
1. Its open world
2. It doesnt play like previous lego games, ie its actually engaging.
I should really pick it up. I enjoyed what i played and im sure the kid will love it.

Hey Rigg, welcome to the Wii U family! If you like fighting games, Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Wii U edition is definitely a game for your needs. I would also suggest Injustice Gods among us, but I haven't played that for myself yet, so you'll have to get the opinion of someone who has played it.

Most definitely. It's fun to play, and your kid will undoubtedly spend hours just exploring and "playing" around the city.

I would definitely recommend getting the Wonderful 101, there has been plenty of negativity against it but it is by no means a bad game. All though I personally wouldn't recommend getting AC3 unless you a diehard fan of the series, apart from the sailing sections I found the game to be feel pretty bland, also the WiiU port is pretty poorly optimised with pretty lengthy load times, a s**t ton of analysing and poor texture/model swapping. Some people might see it differently but my experience wasn't really that pleasant.
This is where it ends

Yeah, these are both really good. I like Tekken a little better, but both worthwhile, especially since you can find them cheaper.
I also like- Sonic and Allstars Transformed, both Zen Pinball games.
