Chiaki Kyan and Yuka Konan of the Pkémon Red/Green generation, and Yamamoto of Robert, representative of the upcoming Pokémon XY generation, present the highlights and charms of Pokémon, which is undergoing new developments both game and anime-wise this October!!

A Grand presentation of "Pocket Monsters XY", the first new series to debut in 3 years, which starts its broadcast with a 1 hour premiere special Thursday October 17th, and of "Pocket Monsters the Origin", a 2 hour TV Special depicting the world of "Pocket Monsters Red/Green", which will be broadcast Wednesday October 2nd!! We will show off the high points of the franchise from the Red/Green generation all the way to the current generation, with not a single thing left out!!

The English title of the sixteenth Pokémon movie has been revealed to be Pokémon the Movie: Genesect and the Legend Awakened. It will premiere on Cartoon Network in the United States on Oct. 19, 2013. The movie's trailer can be found on Pokémon.com and Pokémon's official YouTube channel.
This movie stars Red Genesect and Mega Mewtwo. Five Genesect, led by the Red Genesect, endanger an unnamed big city's power supply, attracting the attention of Mewtwo. Ash and friends must intervene when the Genesect's leader confronts Mewtwo.
A two-episode sneak preview of the next season of the Pokémon anime, Pokémon the Series: XY, will air after the movie. It is based on Pokémon X and Y.

Looks like the first two episodes of X&Y airing on CN just two days after they air in japan
