I'm sure you all remember when the wii u launched with a couple games then we all beat em and had to wait months and months for anything decent to play.
Do you think that will happen in 2014? Imo ninty need to get announcing some games that are coming in the beginning of next year, I know mario kart is meant for spring but what else?
We might be left with a similar situation of we have no games to play on wii u until mid 2014 again, hopefully that doesn't happen but I am concerned

I'd like to think not, but my hopes are unfortunately not very high at this point. Aren't MK8 and SSBU both slated for the spring?

Smash Bros is just slated for next year. No time frame has been given.I'd like to think not, but my hopes are unfortunately not very high at this point. Aren't MK8 and SSBU both slated for the spring?

I really hope it's not the end of next year. Waiting that long would be torture

if mario kart and smashbros have good enough online they should be great for carring the system through a drought or 2.

Usually there's a big drought of games from January to about August every year, so I wouldn't expect this year to be much different. Nintendo does seem to have a fairly strong lineup of games between X, Bayonetta 2, Smash Bros, Mario Kart, and I'm sure a number of unannounced surprises, so I wouldn't worry too much about it.
Be wary, the suck is coming.
