Do you know what was fake too? The Donkey Kong 3D for 3DS box on Ebgames last year. Look at how that turned out.

It would also hurt their 3DS sales which are booming right now. Nintendo needs to create games specifically for the Wii U, not rely on the 3DS library to try to carry it. It wouldn't get very far anyways.

Not sure, but it certainly didn't help them. Fact is the Wii U isn't bringing in the money right now, so risking the 3DS' install base just to try to sell a few more Wii U's isn't the way to go. The main people who want this are people who have a Wii U but not a 3DS. If someone without either wants 3DS games then they're going to grab a 3DS. It's the cheaper option anyways.

Well if Luigi Mansion 2 going to the Wii U, I just hope it's a bundle with the original GC game for 50 euro or smt.

Since they have a program to port their GC games to Wii U.

They could do that. It would give gamers a reason to buy again if they already own the 3DS game (= more sales).

So this time we used a special method. We devised a way to convert Nintendo GameCube data for Wii U and to make visuals look better, while hardly laying our hands on the 3D modelling data.

Not saying that if a retail is right, will always be right, but it doesn`t mean they are always wrong.

If amazon was right about Earthbound for Wii U i`ll never doubt them (on Nintendo news).

The image i posted was taken last year in March and the game was announced this year.

Which means, that sometimes retailers do know things in advance.

 

It`s not that retailers haven`t made mistakes. It`s just that when they say the info came from the manufacturer and they can "vouch" for it, it`s not the same as just putting online or in a store a game.

I would love a hd enhanced port, although I have a 3ds I never bought dark moon as I'm not a fan of the small screen on the 3ds.
Being able to play this in 1080p would be great.

I think it probably did help them, except maybe not the gamecube/gba connector because the gamecube had such a low install base anyway.

Why would making their games playable on another piece of hardware increase their handheld sales? Like I said before, the only people that REALLY want this are people with WiiU's who don't want to pay for a 3DS.

Because you're still buying the handheld, it's just a connector that joins the two consoles and allows the handheld image to be displayed on the TV.
