Just wanting to let you know that Nintendo UK opened it`s own webstore!

From i what could see, it`s only selling titles published by Nintendo.

You can see it here: http://store.nintendo.co.uk/home.dept

Seing as some stores aren`t stocking a lot of Wii U games/consoles, it could really come in handy to those who want to buy games but can`t find them anywhere.

Great, buying straight from Nintendo is a great way for them to maximise their profits.

Hope Nintendo Australia follows suit.

Actually, now that I think about it, it'd be great if the Wii U and 3DS eShops got updated so you could visit a games page and get the option of downloading it OR getting the physical version shipped (via the Nintendo webstore). That would be a very cool addition to the eShop.

Also, it's a good way to get RRP's for their games, unless it's just someone like thehut or play getting a contract for it from NoE.

I think it`s really Nintendo who is in charge of the online store, but until official confirmation, there`s that chance. But honestly, i doubt it.

It has it`s advantages! ;)

It's thehut.

Someone done looked at the html and it literally says "thehut" in the html, so there we go. no rrp at all, just another facade for thehut group.

They offer good value, but I'd have appreciated a new competitior.

I really thought it was Nintendo only.
There must be some kind of deal. The online store is on Nintendo`s official page.

It's not uncommon for big name companies to contract out a store for some extra cash.

Thehut used to run the online store for tesco's non-grocery side in the UK I believe, might have been sainsburies or something, one of them. I got my 3DS form them whichever it was.

It's a weird thing with thehut too, they have like 50 different storefronts like zavvi, thehut, etc. but they all compete with each other a bit. I like that about them.

It's be an easy thing to just set the same price among all their sites and not bother competing with each other.

Didn`t know that.

They promote competition, which is good and it also attracts customers who don`t like a specific brands. Like when car manufacturers buy other companies but let them keep the name. That`s how i see this.

Zavvi`s console prices are, how to put it, hiiiiiiiigh!
