I am happy with my Wii U too, love it infact. Had it since launch and over 14 games so far.
I have finally made the decision to go for the Xbone instead of PS4 and will list my reasons below. If I do some overtime I may get a PS4 a couple months later lol.
So my main reason is the controller. I have looked at reviews and comparisons and think the Xbone controller might just be more comfortable with better sticks and more feedback. Both now use Bluetooth 2.1 wireless which is great as lag on the 360 pad was crap. Also the Xbone pad doubles as a wired controller out the box for even less latency. I'm not sure the touch pad on PS4 will offer anything like Wii U GamePad does.
PS4 uses faster memory and beefier GPU but Xbone does actually have slightly more memory with a faster CPU and GPU. Bandwidth using esram is higher than the gddr5. I do feel both consoles are fairly equal when you take into account each systems strengths. I think because PS4 is more like PC that is why 1080p is easier. Did developers utilize the recent clock speed boosts or esram on Xbone to hit 1080p? Probably not.
Launch games are another Xbone highlight but PS4's digital launch games look better. So that leaves online and if the dedicated servers and cloud features on Microsoft's side are to be believed then they might have an edge there.
I look forward to seeing how this gen pans out and secretly hope Wii U comes out on top in the end.
