They're comparing a 7 year old console to a brand new one. The Wii outspecced the PS2 and 1rst gen Xbox, and the GameCube kicked the PSOne in the nads (and IIrc was bettr than the PS2). And the Wii U is buttloads more powerful then the Wii, so why should it not be more powerful than the PS3?

Show them the wii u games made for the next gen wii u hardware:

Dk: tc, mario 3d world, Mario kart 8, x, etc.

Even though Nintendo continues its tradition of not clarifying specs, it's obvious the gpu is at least a couple generations ahead. 2 gb ram is definitely more than 512.

And then you can point out the 32 gb edram on CPU.

PS3 doesn't have gpu and CPU nearly combined like wii u does either. Power gain through efficiency.

You can argue the wii u CPU destroying cell, but all they will say is " but cell is 3.2 ghz!!!" So might not want to go that route with people ignorant enough to think ps3 is at or near wii u power level.

I find it easy to ignore people. Especially if your up against another company fanboy. Ever read comments on IGN? Don't, they are both infuriating and make me want to tear my hair out. So when someone says something like this...slap them with sarcasm or ignore them...or if your in a position to show them a game...go for it!

Modern tech vs 7 year old tech, idk kinda obvious. Just ignore them or if you really want to show em Bayonetta 2 or X. Idk why people keep doing this especially when WiiUs competitors are X1 and PS4 not the last gen.

The best advice I could give you is to not even go there with them because whatever you say they are going to dissagree with you just for the seer fact they hate nintendo just to hate nintendo.  You just tell them regardless of what they think of the hardware you are enjoying what you are playing and the graphics look amazing to you.  In the words of Mizzah Tee that is your "oinion" and aint no need for the haters to cry about what you like.

Lets be real, these people don deserve to live the life they live.

Start with ¨refurbishing¨ the basement. Some new locks here, a dog bowl there, you know, just some basic stuff

wait until they leave their house

Break into their house, tie up their parents/spouse/roomates.

Smash all the electronics in the house with whatever is in you reach except the tv and xbox 360

Lie in wait.

When they get home hold them at knife/gunpoint.

Make them drive to the nearest game store and buy a wii u.

Take them and all who live with to your new basement. Make them carry the tv and xbox 60 all the way there

Keep hem on a short lash. Metal chains preferred.

Lock the xbox  to the leash, around their neck. Melt the key.

Force them to play Wii U.

Ask them if they don feel enlightened once a day.

If no, keep them in the basement, they need to play more.

If yes, keep them in the basement, they want to play Wii U more (even if they claim they want to be let go (itś a trick, they don really mean it))

 

This is what I do, its, so I can tell you its very effective

Just make sure people don go into the basement during parties...
