I'm going to post on the 3ds miiverse day 1 saying "I want to message my friends", and I believe everyone else should too.<br />nintendo have shown they look at miiverse, telling them what you want might have a tiny chance of getting through their thick asses.

Then what´s the f****ing point? Sure, the communities are cool, but I've talked to quite a few people through the messaging system. And I met most of my Miiverse friends by sending friend requests to nice-seeming persons. This is complete BS. WTF is wrong with you Nintendo? Less than 99,9999% of Nintendo platform users are closet pedophiles. Most of us are actually really nice and good people. With good moderation there should be no danger. And they're acting like little kids aren't harmful on other sites.... does Facebook get shutdown because of 'bad' people? No, and there are plenty of underage kids on there. Get your s**t straight Nintendo.

Nintendo is very bad at online interaction. They have always been. This is a company that was made for family not friends across the world .

 

But hopefully that can change.

Jesus Christ. At this rate, we're going to be waiting 2 more Nintendo console launches before we get a capable online system that has the ability to do simple things like inviting people to a game or chatting with a friend outside of a clunky app.

It just seems like some parts of Nintendo are riddling their feet with lead as much as possible anymore.

So no friend request or message system for 3DS version of MiiVerse, at least not yet.

 

I am a bit confused then as to why there is an activity stream button shown in the 3DS pictures running MiiVerse.

 

The activity feed is populated by your FRIENDS, along with your updates/posts and MiiVerse announcements.

 

I am thinking that intially, the version of MiiVerse will be limited (no friends messaging as known now) sort of like the experience you have when accessing MiiVerse on your browser. Those new people who register an NNID for the first time on the 3DS without having a Wii U, will certainly have an empty activity feed... unless it picks up your current friends list from friend codes.

 

Anyone else have thoughts about this?

And stuff like this is why I will never get an online multiplayer game for the Wii U. Singleplayer only.
