I can believe it. But the article doesn't explain if all the sabotaged units simply had the hard drive disconnected or was it something else they did that I can't fix myself?

do we always have to write all over the same things?
If you are not a fan of sony playstation, or xbox, etc, its better to avoid buying a playstation or xbox or wii U, at release date. Because all machines have faults and they ened at least 6-8 months till they address them.
