At least they are offering a special Wii remote.
Does the gamepad really need to be there?
I think it helps brand Wii U. Without, you would have EVEN more people buying this for the wii.....

Forgot about Dark Moon. Still need to play that.
By the way, how much do you even save with that first bundle? Its just a 3DS with Luigi's mansion pre-installed, isn't it? (Or is the 3DS unique? Doesn't look all that special)

I'm getting the Luigi's Mansion 3DS bundle for my son for Christmas. It's $149.99 at Best Buy this Thursday, and I'm interested in playing that one myself. LOL. I'm getting him Mario Kart 7 as well because that's the one he wants the most. I'm pretty excited to get a 3DS, Luigi's Mansion, and MK7 for under $200.

Remember when Nintendo Land got removed from the eShop a while back? Maybe this Wii Remote bundle has something to do with it. Kinda like how Wii Party U isn't on the eShop.

No, just game and Wii Mote. I know what you mean though, perhaps they should of had the gamepad with console in the pic and in a burst say " only for Wii U " or something.

As soon as I buy Nintendoland AND the Luigi Wii Remote they do this. Whatever.
I still need to get Dark Moon, but they missed an opportunity to release a Luigi 3DS XL. The Colbalt Blue one still looks nice though.
I think it's safe to say the Year of Luigi wasn't something dumb that would be written off. We had Luigi's Mansion, Dream Team, Luigi U (digital and boxed), a secret minigame in 3D World, a Dream Team 3DS, and a Luigi Wii Remote. This was actually really nice, and we got good games from it.

Yeah, I would've preferred a Luigi's Mansion 3DSXL bundle instead. But I'll take what I can get, and hopefully the 3DS isn't too much worse than the XL. My son won't know the difference at least, lol.
