I buy power and NVIDIA are creating 2 different versions of a "PC Console" running valves new operating system STEAM OS. If I get one I will probably shell out the 1500 for Nvidia's version just because I know ill be able to put my faith into their amazing hardware and it will never be outdated.

 

1 reason I won't get it at 1500 if its any less than 16gb ram and if its not at least a 500 gb hard drive. I understand why the console will be so expensive because you get what you pay for.

I already have a pretty beefy gaming PC, However I am interested in buying a low end steam stream box and controller. (Assuming I can get it for around $300 or less, anything more expensive would be abit too much for what itis )

I may actually get it. I know it's a complete waste of money when I have an hdmi cable and a computer, but I have money to waste

I don't see any reason not to get one, if what Steam says is true about the concept. However... I'm converting my old gameing rig with is currently useing ubuntu right now. (Was useing windows 7, but it came pre-installed and the old motherboard blew out on me, so...)
