I like the idea of Mario having his own sport game, but would it be cool if Zelda had their own line of sport games like Zelda Kart, Zelda Tennis, Dancing Stage Zelda Mix etc.

What do you think?

I'm going to say no to this one. In my opinion, the characters from the Legend of Zelda are more suited to games with Link saving Hyrule than sports games. I can't really imagine them in a karting game or a tennis game when they don't seem to have those in Hyrule. The characters in Mario are more versatile in my opinion, which is why they appear in different game genres.

Well not all sport games are great for the zelda series. But Zelda Kart & Dancing Stage Zelda Mix is my top fav. Hands Down

I'm on the same side as Amac. Zelda characters just won't work in the the spin-offs Mario characters can pull off. If anything it would kind of degrade the characters and lose all seriousness the main story has if Link started playing baseball with Ganondorf... Even if it is a spin off.

No, it wouldn't suit Zelda. Zelda should always be an adventure game. Mario seems to fit these kinds of game better.

hmm, its an interesting thought, i also agree that any specific sport wouldn't work well, however some kind of hyrule olympics would be interesting because every character would have their strengths in different sports and nintendo could put sports in there that dont exist but would be relevant to hyrule. but even this game would be really hard to pull off and i dont even know if i would buy that. it would also just be a distraction from making the proper full on zelda wii u that we're all waiting for

The only sport that would make sense to me would be fencing or some form of sword fighting sport. Maybe some sort of Crossbow or Standard bow archery (like Link's crossbow training).

Perhaps a Medieval themed Wii Sports Resort style Zelda game, but that may be a bit redundant.

Meh, I don't really like the idea of Zelda mini-games/simulation games...

It just doesn't match the series imo.

It MIGHT be true seeing as the poster was banned, as well as the fact that "The amazing Spider-man: The Game" was just recently confirmed and the post was made in May.

The reason the poster was banned is because he was trying to make people believe in a false rumor. Plus, I think a Paper Legend of Zelda would be awful.

I actually doubt that. It may have a similar art style, but Windwaker was a 3d engine. A paper zelda would be more 2.5D, similar to A link to the Past or 4 swords.

I know Wind Waker is 3D. but the style can pull of being paper.

But really, I won't say it will be disastrous any more, but I just think it is hard to just imagine it (Except for Zelda II....)
