I don't have a Wii U yet but I'm considering buying one on Boxing day. I don't play many game, I do love RPGs but honestly what I'm looking at playing most is Harvest Moon games. I can't seem to find a list of older games available for the Wii U or a store that shows what you can buy of the older games. Does anyone know where I can find out more about these older games? Or do I have to buy the console to browse the store through it first? I'll be more tempted to buy one if I can see lots of games I'd like to play and the new ones won't do that for me.

All Wii games play on Wii U. Wii U basically Wii on a chip for when you go into Wii mode.
Worth noting Xenoblade,The Last Story are the best RPGs you will find on that console at least in english.

The oldest you can get is Wii games. Anything older is in the eShop or the Wii Mode shop, and the price is relatively fixed.
Just Google Wii shop or Wii u eShop games and there will be a website that ists them. They are both still being added to though.
