Hey,

 

I'm thinking of getting the new COD for for my Wii U, as I had BOPS2 for the 360 and enjoyed the online multiplayer.

 

My question for anyone who has the game is, I know the online side of the Wii U is not as strong as the other platforms, so is it easy to get in a game with other players, are the servers reliable or should I just buy the 360 version?

Honestly with my experience COD is one of the few games I never have an issue with online play or even finding a match. That's just my personal experience.

Don't got ghost in the wii u but bo2 wad better on the wii u then the ps3 to me. It look better and off tv play was great.

stick with blops 2,ghosts is worse cod EVER

the map design and feel of the game is very different than BO2. most people who couldnt ajust just called it rainbow and left. id say best COD since BO and MW2. IW learned from some of their MW3 mistakes. 

 

its easy to find a game, lag is there and bad, but not in the same way as BO2. 

 

maps are larger and support more tactical play, mindless run and gun will just get you killed. 

 

if you like more tactical play get ghosts if you like running around ahd shooting whoever you see, keep BO2.

I think Ghosts looks great on Wii U.  I've had luck finding matches and to be honest, the lag hasn't been horrible.  I do recommend playing on a Pro Controller though, especially for Multiplayer.  The gamepad is a little too bulky for my liking when it comes to fast paced FPS play.

I would advise against getting Ghosts.

 

I received it as a present on Christmas day and the single player campaign is boring, extinction is quite entertaining, better than Zombies, but the online multiplayer is just a horrendous experience.

 

The maps are too large, there's too many areas for people to camp which they have been doing in their droves, quick scoping has made a come back and there's virtually nothing you can do about it, the kill streaks are overpowered. Good luck handling a player with the maniac or juggernaut killstreaks.

 

I'm going to trade in Ghosts and just go back to playing Black Ops II.

Also good luck trying to find games of Search and Destory, Blitz and Cranked on the Wii U version. I just about managed to get a few matches on Infected.

 

Everyone seems to just play Team Death Match and Domination.

The multi is good, the maps are bigger and there's cover every where. It's easy to see there goal was to make people use there brains when playing. Those that complain refuse to adapt there playstyles and just get butchered. A also they finally added a charector creator.

I agree. The one thing to throw off COD fans is indeed the larger maps. You have to adjust your play style otherwise it can become a frustrating mess.

As above I did exactly that,ran round jot headed to start with and got killed a lot. Take time crouch behind pick your route. You wouldn't run round a real battlefield so this is more real feeling.
Anyone notice player count has leveled off at about Black ops numbers? Was hoping for more...

It would be more balanced.

There's nothing you can do about people who hide in corners or people who quick scope.

You also cannot quick scope with a sniper rifle in real life, yet in every Call of Duty games, particularly the Infinity Ward games it's rife.
