Hey, I am just checking to see if there's a problem with my Wii U.

 

I have it hooked up to an HD monitor which worked perfectly. However, while playing Super Mario 3D World, the screen went black and eventually came on to a very pixelated pink screen. I tried unplugging everything and that did not work. The screen keeps flickering black, too. I did notice my Wii U is especially loud lately.

 

Any tips?

That sounds exceptionally bad. Ive never heard of anything like this. How long did you leave it unplugged for? Leave it unplugged for about 10 minutes and try again, and then contact Nintendo customer service.
