This screen is over a year old now. They've made a TOOOOON of improvements since, but hey, at least its a wii u screen.

Yeah... Let's just wait for the offical released Wii U screens and vids. Let's see if they really found any "HIDDEN" power in that box.

WIth the exception of missing AA, this is actually identical in appearence to the PC builds of the same time. The low megapixel quality of the cell phone camera is really the only issue with this picture, and this is before all the dx11 based updates like multi thread rendering.

Why are you doubting the devs? This isn't EA or even Ubisoft, this is a small dedicated team, who are making one of the biggest efforts towards making a great game for Wii u we've seen yet. They don't have much reason to be lying/exaggerating this sort of thing.

Why are you doubting the devs? This isn't EA or even Ubisoft, this is a small dedicated team, who are making one of the biggest efforts towards making a great game for Wii u we've seen yet. They don't have much reason to be lying/exaggerating this sort of thing.
From here on out for ANY WiiU title I rather take a wait and see approach... Don't judge me for that.

And my comments are in regard to your slew of posts about devs and the Wii U needing to show a graphically superior game that shows what the system is capable of..... will those type of comments end?

How about you stay out of the goddamn threads then, and stop posting your same damn incessant annoying crap every single time anyone else tries to talk about it.
We freaking get it, you cant tell and are completely incapable of deciphering pictures in development, and are unable to tell a 'bad' picture, from an 'unfinished one'. So why dont you leave the people who can, or WANT to discuss it the hell alone without bombing every damn thread and harrassing them with the same shtick.

I'll be picking this up for sure. Though I'm going to build myself a gaming PC in the summer and I'm probably going to pick up Project Cars on the PC platform.

Ok what will you do if the game is released and doesn't live up to whatever standards you have set. Let's say once the sites that do tech breakdowns find out it isn't Native 720p and the framerate isn't stable 30FPS( not saying this will happen but its an example)? I understand because of all the negativity that has surrounded this consoles techinical ability that whenever their is a slight hope that a game will achieve more people flock to it... I personally just will wait and see... That all I was saying and have been saying the fact that it has pissed you and 3dude off... That's on you guys. To each his own. Believe it or not I actually plan on buying this for Wii U. I hope the port turns out decent. As the developers have said this game has NO competition on WiiU. Obviously Nintendo gamers are iffy and you never know what you are going to get sales wise. This game could bomb very hard and we will never see another game from them on a nintendo console. Hope it all turns out well.

I may even pick it up on both formats to be honest. I want the PC version for the graphics and the Wii U one for the gamepad functionality. I've got a feeling that if Slightly Mad studios will live up to their company name and create something slightly mad for the Wii U game which will set it apart from other versions.

I don't base my purchases off of what some blog or website says about the technical aspects of a game, whether it's a 1st party title or a 3rd party multi-plat. Project Cars devs, Shinen have both been very honest and open and I don't think there is any hyperbole coming from them when they release a statement about their upcoming Wii U titles or the capability of the Wii U itself.
There will always be people complaining about the Wii U's power, even if it had bit stronger GPU and 4 gigs of RAM... people will still sling mud. The Wii U wasn't a target for it's "specs" at release, but it became an easy way for people to speak negatively of the Wii U when there was a bad drought in software early last year and during horrible sales. Both the drought and horrible sales have absolutely nothing to do with lack of power/ higher specs.
I have to laugh when I read some comments on other forums about how the Wii U can't handle even a 3rd party 360 port.... deep down I know they are either completely ignorant and dumb or again... just slinging mud on purpose... I'll go with the latter to be nice.
To answer your direct question about, What if project cars isn't 720p or a stable 30fps? (I know it's just an example). I'll answer with this. Project Cars devs wouldn't be putting time and resources into a Wii U version if it isn't capable of providing a great looking and great playing game on the Wii U. Too much money, time, would be at stake for releasing a terrible product not to mention bad press/ blow back. This is what separates good devs from the lazy... Project Cars devs care and are fully capable about bringing a great looking game to us Wii U owners.
