Hi can anybody help? Somehow my gamepad is not receiving the wiimote when I want to without tv. What should I do?

Try increasing the distance between the remote and the gamepad, using different remotes, going into settings and under sensitivity so you can see what the ir camera on the wiimote is seeing, I literally have a GIGANTIC list of wiimote troubleshooting, so lets try and narrow the symptoms down.

Honestly, I dont much care for using the gamepads IR sensor, as I like to get comfortable with the gamepad, making it a rather impossible proposition anyways, so I simply look at the pad, whilst pointing the remote at the tv's sensor bar.

Thanks for the advice. I'll try these tips first thing in the morning.

Since I'm using it for WiifitU, and there is to less space in front of the tv to do all moves, I valued the option to use gamepad only. I have not felt the need to actually use the wiimotes but since I didn't see the cursor I just have the urge to check why.
