I'm pleased with the game selection, tho I hope that EA will come around again for a future version of Madden. Won't hold my breath and will be the reason why I eventually get a Ps4 in a few years. After a few releases- Smash, Mario Kart, DCTF, Bayonetta, Project Cars and Shinen's car game, I think I'll have just about all the games I want for the Wii U.
I see people here, and everywhere especially now with the new forcast report. And a lot of people are reporting IT HAS NO GAMES.
First Party:
New Super Mario Bros. U (I find it as the best NSMB title.)
New Super Luigi U
Pikmin 3
Wind Waker HD
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
Wii Fit U
Super Mario 3D World
Wii Party U
Game & Wario
Nintendo Land
Mario Kart 8
Super Smash Bros 4 Wii U
Legend of Zelda Wii U
Yarn Yoshi
Second Party:
Bayonetta 2
The Wonderful 101
Third Party:
ZombiU (Exclusive)
Rayman Legends (Definitive Version) (Somewhat Exclusive, it sold the best)
WatchDogs
Assassins Creed III
Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag
Splintercell: Blacklist
Call of Duty: Black Ops II
Call of Duty: Ghost
Sonic Racing All Stars: Transformed
Mario And Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics (Exclusive)
Sonic Lost World (Exclusive)
Batman: Arkham City (Definitive Version)
Batman: Arkham Origins
Need for Speed: Most Wanted U (Definitive Version)
Just Dance 2014
Scribblenauts Unlimited (Special)
Scribblenauts UnMasked
Duck Tales Remastered.
Resident Evil: Revalations
Monster Hunter 3 (Nintendo Only, right?)
Injustace: Gods Among Us
Lego City: Undercover (Exclusive)
Hyrule Warriors (Exclusive)
Dark Siders II
Tekken
Madden 13
Fifa 13
+ More
Indies/Downloads:
UnEpic
CastleStorm
NES Remix
Knytt
A Hat in Time (Wii U + PC)
A Girl and her Robot (Wii U + PC)
Lobodestroyo
Project Cars
QUBE
Edge
Mighty Switch Force
Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams
Oliver & Spike: Dimension Jumpers
Bit.trip Runner 2
Puddle
The Cave
Chasing Aurua
Nano Assault Neo
Trine 2
Litttle Inferno
Highly Possible:
Metroid U
Excitebike HD
Animal Crossing
Monster Hunter 4
+ If they pump of the Virtual Console to the majority of great NES/SNES/N64/GC. You buy half of the stuff on these list and be good to go. I know thats not a lot coming from Nintendo themself, but its always been this way.
Sorry if I got some things mixed up.

The Wii U has a great selection of games so far into it's 1 year lifespan. The next step which will indicate progress will be to fully utilize the hardware on board in order to show off what the console can do.
