Looks really fun and hopefully it reaches the vita.
It reminds me of Mortal Kombat story with SubZero and Scorpion going at each other.

Yeah it does look like that visually but it also reminds me of the old 2d beat em up games from back in the day.

I agree, although, mainly due to its dodgy animation. That will probably be rectified with the final release (all that kickstarted money has to go somewhere, right?).
