Yes this is 3rd parties we are asking about. New games in series we like. May not have been announced yet or maybe it has but PS4/XBO only.

Saints Row V. Volition only said IV did not come to Wii U because they were focused with IV on current gen systems. Indicating Wii U is "next gen" Will they? Probably not. Deep Silver last time on a Nintendo system sold poorly with Cursed Mountain. It was a cult hit however. 

I am not normally a Sandbox game fan. Only GTA I ever liked was VC. Can't stand the series now. I played LA NOIRE and enjoyed it but first sandbox game I played for story. Saints Row The third I have not been playing for story as I don't care. What I do like is how silly it is. I also like making video game characters from the CAC. I don't care it's city is not super massive or that it does not have a $200Mil budget. I find it more fun. Combat I would put above GTAV. Simple reason my gun goes where I aim it....ehem

Also the tackling. Pimps n hoes,Zombies and mascots. Just great. Tron cycles,cyber weapons and they made it easy to make Armor Samus with arm cannon or Zero suit. Fun missions and such. So yeah love it. 

 

Wii U likely not getting it but be cool to me. Second screen as a map instead of pausing all the time. Also can act as the homing missile screen using the gyros to move around. Same with the RC. Also be used like an in game tablet/phone.

I agree with this. Also, I think Nintendo has already lost a lot of support from third parties, so instead of wingeing that we've missed one or two good games, Nintendo should continue to try and get more exclusives like Lego City, or Bayonetta, or Rayman Legends (except still exclusive). That way they have third party games to entice gamers that are already getting all the multiplats on their PS4's and XBO's etc.

Nintendo may well have had these games on their system if the system matched the specifications of their competitors and if Nintendo gamers bought third party games in large enough numbers.

It upsets me that hardly any nintendo gamers buy third party games. But at the same time it confuses me. I mean, Assassin's creed IV for example is a brilliant action/adventure game with a huge open world to explore. What's not to like?

I want Metal Gear Solid 5 and Ground Zeroes on the Wii U because there is a precedent for how MGS can use a touchscreen with Snake Eater 3D. You can have shortcuts for quick access to items, gear, etc. Hell, it uses the Vita for Remote Play and Smartglass for a map, two functions that could easily be done better on the Wii U.

Other games I would want include the next Deus Ex and Tomb Raider.

There will inevitably be a special edition version of GTA V (with all the DLC). I was talking about the possibility of that version coming to next gen consoles.

the vast majority of nintendo owners as of right now are ninty fans who own another consul. i got a PC for playing non nintendo stuff, and i want a pc version of GTA5. in the end it comes down to the game though.

I concur. I think Assassin's Creed is a great franchise, even with the major disappointment that was AC III. It's a shame that us Wii U gamers probably won't be getting another installment of that franchise on the Wii U.

Just couldn't get into the last two. If there is a major drought and the game is cheap I will give it a try maybe but the franchise just is boring to me.

Nba2k15 and the new catlevania would be cool.

If I had to guess it's probably because there's bias in the Nintendo camp too; that all third party games are pretty much dime a dozen shooters with children screaming verbal abuse

 

 

Funny, people call Nintendo a kiddie console but I expect more children play Xbox or playstation.
