So why cant nintendo do this on games like watch dogs or project cars or any other highly anticipated game
Because it requires payments from Nintendo and Iwata has always said he is not prepared to throw money at third party developers because in his opinion once that starts happening it never ends.

we are not asking nintendo to pay money to 3rd party devs, we are asking that when they advertise Wii U they show watch dogs same as what sony does

In order for Nintendo to be placed on those advertisements, Iwata would have to spend millions and that is something he has stated that he isn't prepared to do.

Have Iwata commit Sudoku on a special Nintendo Direct to apologize for his mistakes and have a Wii U Ambassador Program. Also announce the 4DS, a new hybrid handheld/console system that will fail worse than the Wii U.

The only thing they can do is focus on their main market. They need to give people like us what we want, and ignore the desire of importing the Wii/fad audience from their phones and tablets.
Essentially, the only way to 'turn the Wii U around' is to reduce the cost of sales and make it profitable while at the same time building a steady base for the next console. At the same time, add to what they have with regard to online and for god's sake, listen to developers for the next iteration.
Anyway, the Wii U needs Metroid, F-Zero, Earthbound, and any other IP that will appeal to the hardcore market. The Wii Fit's are fine, but they are obviously not the bread and butter of the market, as the 7 million plus PS4/Xbone's show us.
The machine will not be able to directly compete with the PS4 or Xbone unless they can get the install base buying the software from third parties.
I guess I am saying that the Wii U will need to be a must have for a large number of exclusives. A large portion of the cash reserve may be needed for reinvestment in order to remain relevant in the console space at this point (provided the mass number of games do not hit their targets).

Yeah, I feel that the only thing Nintendo can do is give us a lot of diversity in unique titles. They need to consider having a better rate of releasing titles as well. I know that goes against their ideas of quality, but a few sacrificial lambs so to speak in between the good ones wouldn't be a bad thing.

I think the fortunes of the Wii U are out of Nintendo's hands now.
All they can do is market the system and release their games and see what happens.
