So basically you wanted us all to agree with you, and not actually discuss? right.

 

Not at all, I just wanted to know why physical copies of games force you to use Steam? It's all but forcing people into using Steam because what's the point of buying a physical copy of a game if you need an Internet connection and a Steam account to play the damn thing.

 

I'm new to the whole Steam but it seems as though Steam is becoming a monopoly in the PC game market which is kinda ironic considering that Steam are promoting Linux an operating system which is also in a market which has been monopolised by Microsoft.

Meh. I have quite a few games on steam but I'm not worried about Steam going out of business. Maybe well after I kick the bucket, they might be out of business. Oh well, my future grand kid's loss lol
