I'm terrible at ranting, let me say this, but I may as well try.
The amount of trolls on this website is horrendous. If you look in the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgendered section, there is people like 'zell paris and Wendy' who are raving homophobes. You can't even report things unless you sign in, so, to start it's work against trolls is terrible. My friend asked one question and he got one helpful answer, the two un-helpful one's were.
"Email me if you become gay (so, really, it was only help for if he was sure he was gay, and it had no advice on whether he was or not).
and the other was
"Queer as a 3 dollar bill"
And the other was a very kind person who gave him his email so he could send queries and stuff to him AND told him kindly it was highly likely he was gay or bi with a preference to men.
Instead of actually removing questions that have been took down, they leave it there, and when you click on it it says it's been deleted. It is NOT that hard to remove one question. If they ban an account, it doesn't ban the IP, so they just make a new account and troll again.
The service on the site I just find appalling, which is why I never use it.
I can't really argue back to anything here, as it's just evidence that can't really be justified or denied, but oh well.

yahoo answers is really only good for their tech answers and the such. Everyone else is a troll or a counter troll, like me. I stick around in the religious section trolling the people who "ask" questions.
In the end, YA is just a bit lower than youtube stupidity.

I kinda like Yahoo Answers, if I get bored of reading ED I go over and read YA, so maybe I like it for totally different reasons then most. Yahoo seems to attract some of the more stupid trolls like The Man, and pretty much the entire Gender Studies section.
My favorite by the way, it's always good for a laugh. I guess all I can really say is, never expect good social type advise from a site like Yahoo. That place seems to attract a lot of trolls just for the abundance of incompetent staff that Yahoo employs to moderate and maintain the site.

Despite being an awful place to find proper answers to even the most simple questions, it has been around for a very long time, when other networks have failed miserably.
The long wait for the Wii U.......

Yea, a lot of trolls lurk over there. I have gotten some good feedback though before, so I guess it just really depends.
