Nike released replicas of the iconic high tops worn by Marty in Back to the Future part II in 2011. Unfortunately, these did not feature the self-tying "power laces" shown in the film. But now, Nike has confirmed it will be releasing the power laces next year, to coincide with the storyline of the film!
The future is here...
I would love to buy them!

I read that the only reason hoverboards and flying cars exist in 2015 in the BTTF universe is because of all of Marty's meddling in the past. For example hoverboards came about so early due to Marty popularizing the skateboard early in the 1950s. Might just be a theory but I remember reading it somewhere.
