Okay. So i found out i can stream MP4 media from my computer to my Wii U. Followed all the steps as listed here in this article http://www.examiner....ions-on-how-to 

and I still cant get it to work.I keep getting the error message "401 - Unauthorized: Access is denied due to invalid credentials."

 

Has Anyone got this to work? Any Tips or advice?

Well, there's your problem!
The guide you're following doesn't exist.
It either was a figment of your imagination, or only exists in an alternate reality.

401 is you don't have permission to access the files, you should be able to troubleshoot from that.

ICS is terrible.
No wonder you'e getting 401.

Use plex(i think) or vidiuu.
go to feedback and follow the tutorial on how to search these forums for those terms.

No idea what you mean by "ICS" but i'm sick and tired of all these third party workarounds for streaming content to different systems and what not. I want it to be native. I don't want to have to remember anymore usernames and passwords or download any more garbage. Thanks for the suggestion, but ill just keep looking for a way to make this work. Thinking its most likely a firewall issue anyways
