Hehe. I saw that article this evening and couldn't help but chuckle at the dramatics of "pushing the limits", I feel bad for PS4 and X1 owners if they are pushing the limits with those horrid titles. The title of the article is clearly click-turbation.

yeah of course it is. I mean this again is just one of the negative stigma surrouding the Wii U. I mean man if Nintendo crawls out of this hole the Wii U is in it will be one of the greatest tech successes in my lifetime. The console is litterally on life support.

also there just might be a PC port. you litterly copy/paste the xbox version and you go the PC port. granit a half ass port. wiiU, just minor graphics hit, the actual game itself, no difference.

They say they're pushing the limits to trick people into thinking it isn't a cash-in of a cash-cow franchise.

The Wii U isn't dude-bro enough for a UFC title, clearly just a matter of knowing where your market is, she had no need to lie about the power, as she obviously doesn't understand programming at all.
Oh wait I'm sorry, she didn't say the Wii U lacked power, she said the console wasn't on her radar for the game.
The implication it's a matter of power comes from the sentence before "not on our radar" is that the P4 and X1 are being pushed, technically.
Very clever marketing technique.

Even if the Wii U could handle the game, the fact is it won't sell as Nintendo gamers wouldn't buy it in high enough numbers to earn the developer and publisher a return on their investment. This is the major reason why the Wii U is a Nintendo first party console with very few third party titles being released on it.

They're just looking for an excuse to not release for Wii U. As others have said, it just won't sell well on the platform. And that's the sad truth.

Of course it isn't possible.

Bit not because the Wii u can't cut it.

The Ignite engine is X86.

They're not going to port it, so therefore, it's impossible.

The real reason is that they are to stupid to realize a legit cool title being simultaneously released on all platforms would generate decent sales on Wii U - versus... Oh I don't know... Having an old, played out mass effect 3 port on Wii u while other consoles received the entire trilogy and for less money...

Bases Loaded/RBI Baseball (Tie)

Blades of Steel
