How are you celebrating your irish heritage today?

Im a quarter irish so Im busy getting rainbowfaced in the student union, been here since 12pm like a true irishman.

nah man im scottish, we're basically brothers


plus i think we have more restrictions on alcohol than any other country in the british isles. We're probably fatter too.

plus its basically a conpliment to irish folk, they know how to have Good time.

You guys really don't get the differences between Scottish and Irish stereotypes, do you?

 

Didn't really do anything, I had an EEG today for other reasons.  My Dad made corned beef just because.

 

My dad told me that when he was younger his family would just use St. Patricks day as an excuse to drink.  My dad's side is a big Irish-Italian-New Mexican catholic family (among others, my aunt is Lebanese), food was a big thing with them, so his mom would make corned beef and the others would just drink.

My mom's side is Jewish, so no reason to celebrate.  She only started eating corned beef after meeting my dad.
