Marc Whitten, Chief Product Officer of Xbox, joined Microsoft in 2000, helping to build the original Xbox and Xbox Live, and release two subsequent consoles. Microsoft has announced his departure from the company to take the same role at Sonos, which makes speakers and things.

"I have had the extreme pleasure over the last 14 years to work on the greatest product with the greatest team and for the greatest community,” Whitten said. "Xbox is so special because of the amazing team I've had the opportunity to work with and because our fans are the most incredible fans on the planet. It has been the highlight of my career to work on a product so loved. It's incredibly tough to leave but I am confident the best days are ahead for Xbox fans, in the capable hands of a very talented team."

Tretton, now Whitten. Crazy times.

Funny how things go. PS4 doing well but Sony overall doing very poorly. MS almost sold the XBO division and ABO is likely MS last console. Nintendo can take a loss for the next 38 years and somehow they are the most doomed.

And people wonder why Nintendo sticks to how they do business. because it's kept them in the game thick and thin for decades.

You're right. They should release one game every five months and delay everything for two years like Nintendo does.

At least it's quality and polished and exclusive instead of western trash full of glitches,DLC and micro transactions and avail on better systems.

Effen kids need a game every week to satisfy your ADD game of the week BS. This is a person with ADD saying this but growing up we sometimes only were allowed to play one game every few months and since the games offered a hell of a challenge we kept at it for a long time and loved it. Not it's the hyped trash of the week online with the other mental midgets.

Not to mention that there are a couple decades worth of the best Nintendo games on the Wii u and 3DS. Right now I'm playing the n64 paper mario for the third time.

Can't blame the guy. Xbone is dead. Nintendo and Sony are the console superpowers, with Nintendo being supreme ruler

Literally thinks Nintendo games don't have glitches.

No such thing as a game without a glitch but Nintendo polishes them as much as possible and leaves very few. Xenoblade proved how to make a large open world game with almost no issues. Bethseda never figured that out. while most devs esp western leave them infested. With the amount of bugs most western devs leave in games and even some of the bigger name Japanese ones who got lazy leave them so bug ridden if it was a house it would be condemned by the health department.
