Something is going on with Super Smash Bros. While Nintendo will be talking about their new Smash Bros. games for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS in a Nintendo Direct on Tuesday, Game Jouhou reports a recruitment listing from Bandai Namco—who are developing the new games—for a “Smash Bros. 6,” scheduled for release in 2015.

Apparently the Wii U version and 3DS version are 4 and 5.

I'm pretty sure this is gearing up for what will be a big update to the new smash.
much like how capcom did a big update for marvel vs capcom 3 turning into ultimate marvel vs capcom 3, again with sf x tekken and again with ultra street fighter 4.
someone made the suggestion that they also want to move over all the 3ds content to the wii-u version (not vice versa because of the limitations on 3ds), which will be in this big update, a 2.0 if you will.
who knows, they may even add in a character or two.

All I know, is if the Wii U SSB4 game doesn't slip into 2015, it's freaking amazing that they made two SSB games at the same time in two years. I mean I don't even know if they started in 2012. So it might even be more amazing what they have done.
they started almost as soon as kid icarus was finished., so yeah, 2 years almost to the day probably.

This E3 hopefully we'll see tons more games!
MK8 and Smash bros. is all I need. No further games should ever be released for Wii U.
