OK, time to go over to the over side of the Round 3! Let's see the competitors:

Yoshi VS Samus: Two great Nintendo IPs, but only one can survive. First up, is the cool, cute, and sometimes green dinosaur Yoshi! The next is the best bounty hunter in the galaxy, Samus!!! Who will win? Dinosaur or Hunter? You decide!

Luigi VS Mario: It's the two most famous brothers, and they're about to fight each other! Both will do whatever it takes to save Princess Peach and, sometimes, each other. Who will win? Red or Green? You decide!

Voting for this round lasts 14 days, which is divided into 7 days for each part.

Samus has a more developed personality and back story than Yoshi and Luigi because he's over-looked and a lot more awesome than Mario ^_^

I voted for Samus and Luigi.
Samus, I like Samus, that is why I have her as my avatar. I like the way she looks and I like her character. Her suit is cool too. I also like Metroid games better than Yoshi games too.
Luigi... Luigi is just plain better than Mario.

Yoshi and Luigi. I'm not a metroiid fan, but I am a yoshi fan.
Luigi is just better overall.

luigi doesn't mind if you ride him, mario will hit you.

When I was a kid, I thought Yoshi was the best thing ever. I still think Yoshi is a fun character, but I've recently gotten in to the Metroid franchise. I have to say, Samus is pretty much the only character that would ever be willing to admit I think is cool.
As for Mario and Luigi, I actually use to hate Mario. Not really sure why, but in Mario Kart 64, if Mario even came close to winning a race, I would reset the system. Luigi on the other hand is green. Therefore due to the laws of the squishiverse, he is automatically better than anything that is not green.

In my opinion: Samus is too much like a Final Fantasy character and a Star Wars character crossover. At least, in Metroid: Other M.

You do know that metroid came out a year before final fantasy, right? From what I've heard, Metroid: Other M was the worst game in the entire series and many fans hate it.

Yes, I do. But I'm talking about the latest game: Metroid: Other M. And there's actually two sides to the hating war. One side is fans that love Other M and the other side hates it.

Don't get that..I really enjoyed it, and Hard Mode was well worth trying cos you feel like a BAD ASS when you finish the game ;)

The main complaint I hear from Metroid fans about Other M is in the way Samus was characterized. Other than that I hear it's a good game.
