What's wrong with you? Why not try to help a fellow gamer. When did this site become tech support?
That said... If all things fail, try to phone the helpdesk, Nintendo has a pretty decent helpdesk

Most of the time some of the things people ask is pretty obvious...
What I would say is, try to fix it yourself, (move it around, click it in and out, etc) if all else fails he should just tell Nintendo and ask for a free replacement part or something... I'm pretty sure he could have just looked this up himself or thought of it himself...

I understand. But maybe it's just a kid trying to solve things himself by using forums instead of asking his parents. I applaud that. And I'm sure he tried some things before posting the question. You're right, sometimes people ask stuff that's just lazy and didn't even Google it, it's annoying, but if somebody on the forums know how to fix it by a simple trick, I think the wiiUforums are the place to be.

True...
You know what's the best idea? Request a gamepad replacement, having a messed up analog stick for a controller that costs well over 100 dollars (and this is just the controller) is unexceptible, he should get a replacement imo.

I agree. Call the Nintendo Tech Support in your Country. Mostly it is a good experience.
