I have no idea what Nintendo is up to but I don't like it. They almost seem to be purposely abandoning the WiiU. I am really hoping for a big push in marketing for the release of MK8. It seems like they are on cruise control as if they are the hare racing the tortoise.

I read about it on Neogaf and i can`t tell if the Wii U is even out or not.
A portable video player is a very specific designation that doesn`t really seem to fit with consoles. But if it is, my guess is Nintendo is making a Wii U TV thingie?!
EDIT: Reading gonintendo.com - who quotes dualshockers - it seems the correct description is: "compact video player". Like that helps decipher what it is...

I think Nintendo admited the Wii U is a failure, which is weird compared to some of theirs and others failures, the wii u is doing kinda decent. But they'll probably ride it along like the Gamecube and hopefully go full force next time. Won't stop loving my wii u though.

THE WII U IS FREAKING AMAZING. I love the console just not Nintendo stance as of late. little marketing, not calling out publishers, and standing up for their customers. I would have at least like to have heard a statement from Nintendo on the whole Watchdogs being delayed but they couldnt do that. I would not blame any gamer for not wanting to buy a Wii U. there seems to be doubt that nintendo even wants to keep supporting it any further. I am looking forward to Smash 4 and MK8 though. We also have Bayo2 and X (hopefully in NA) this year.
