We've known Zelda was coming for ages now. Not new news at all, still, E3 being only 6 weeks away is pretty exciting.

I don`t think the Zelda music was chosen on random. My guess is we will see something  like OoT, in terms of story/world, or even darker.

 

 

OT:

Wouldn´t it be cool if the Digital Event turned out to be a personnal press conference? Reggie and Iwata and maybe Shibata in a room welcoming developers and pointing to a big TV to show off the videos, would be cool!

I really this Digital Event is closer to a conference than a ND. The pre-E3 2012 Direct got me hyped beyond measure, but the E3 2013 ND was close to disappointment. I want a crapton of vids and announcements with Iwata, Shiggy, and Reggie. Just like a press conference.

So this will probably be another off-stage event huh? Still excited. This video was funny. And a stand-alone online presentation makes it better than a Direct already, which feels too "normal".

the smash bros stuff is at best buy only :/ 

they better have an alternative for non americans though last time they had demos at best buy they didn't have any alternatives so I'm not getting my hopes up :/

I'm kinda disappointed at there being no live press conference again this year, but it looks like there's gonna be some cool stuff going on, so I'll be fine.

A lot of people seem to butthurt (not on this site tho) about the fact that they're not going live again. I prefer on-stage presentations too,  but  I don't  really care cause we still get to see the games which it's all about. Also,  when it's pre-recorded, nothing can go wrong (Skyward Sword).

While that was entertaining, I do think it's pretty dumb of them to not do a live conference yet again. It's about image and making a statement to the gaming community. The bestbuy thing is pretty nice though, I do think that's one thing they've done well. Only thing about it though is I would do that kind of thing for like two straight weeks, that way not only do a lot of people get the chance to check out the offerings, but the crowds would draw more attention.

Nintendo hosting a smash tournament, hope they do it right. 

 

Best way i can think of is 'for fun' warmup matches live, then the actual tournament with 'for glory' rules.
