I think Nintendo is starting to have more fun now... seeing the latest e3 video and this direct.... it's cheese, it's fun, it's silly, its magical... it's Nintendo.. the way it should be.

Yes, great defense.. and offense... very balanced. Karts and Bikes balanced too.. depending on track.

OMG.. just watching the latter part of the direct showing video of them recording the music for MK8.. stunning. It's fantastic.

OMG.. ROFLMAO... the commentary on the Mario Kart Stadium play through near the end of the direct has me crying it was so funny...

The free game selection is great, btw while us only gets the choice of those 4 games uk also have the choice of game and wario, wonderful 101, sonic lost world, mario and sonic sochi olympic games and monster hunter 3 ultimate

Was that huge space station the new Rainbow Road? It's not so much rainbow but DAMN it looks kickass! Every course I've seen so far looks absolutely brilliant, and the new items could really add something and they seem fun to use. Online is as good as I expected it to be (I just hope there's voice chat when playing with friends, it wasn't clear to me). Uploading to social media is a sign that Nintendo does know how to go with the times and I'll probably upload some good/fun races to Youtube eventually. 

 

Graphics look sick as always. I just hope this game is as ballanced as they claim it to be. This game is going to be huge for the series. I just wish they added more courses (32 isn't really that much, I would have liked at least 40) and the character roster is a bit dissapointing. Seriously, metal Peach? Three baby characters and 7 koopalings is also a bit lazy.

 

I don't think we've seen much of Battle Modes, but I hope there's some fun modes like bob-omb blast and not just Balloon Battle and Coin Battle.

Don't know if this is new or not but the official ninty website now has direct feed footage for all 32 tracks lasting about a min or 2 for each vid.

I love the cheesy, funny approach they took with this direct! Made it a lot more fun to watch. I just wish they had announced it sooner... I nearly missed it!

 

Man, that music medley... And that Club Nintendo offer! So much awesome stuff in this direct!

I like everything except for the new characters. Getting a metal reskin and another baby character is ****ing especially when they get in over veterans like Diddy and Birdo. -_-'

I think Nintendo is really making a great effort to gain more positive feedback.  Nintendo made some mistakes on how they promoted the Wii U, and now they are really making some great strides on show casing what I believe is thier best console ever!!  Lets bring it home Nintendo..been a loyal fan since before NES when there was also the Famicom!!

This. They were really lazy at this aspect. Seriously, we have FIVE babies? Why can't they add some interesting characters. Maybe Fawful even though he isn't that famous.
