Omega is Groudon. Alpha is for Kyogre. Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby.

Don't know, played emerald back then. And seeing as red doesn't make green but blue does I might go for Alpha, I also liked team aqua better

You have problems. If you hate it just get one of them. You shouldn't make yourself obligated to get every Pokemon game. All you're doing is falling for their trap.

Like I said you're falling into the trap. Their trap. Also just trade dude. Trade...plus if you complete the Pokedex don't you already have most Pokemon ready for transfer and wouldn't need both games considering they're remakes with(more likely than not) no new Pokemon?

I'm getting Sapphire; & don't worry about finishing the Pokedex if you have Pokemon bank in use is what I'd suggest.

I think I voted for red, but I have no intention of buying either, not a fan of anything after generation 1.
