Popular US retail outlet Target has listed the Nintendo 3DS version of Super Smash Bros with an August 29th release date. While this could simply be a standard placeholder, the retailer has penciled in a precise date that’s not the typical last day of the month. The retailer also has the Wii U version listed, but they’ve simply said it’s coming on December 31st. Nintendo has already announced that the Nintendo 3DS version of Smash Bros is coming this summer.

Sounds like a pretty reasonable release date, really. I'm personally hoping it has a worldwide launch like X/Y did.

This bothers me for multiple reasons. One, my birthday is June 15, so I wanted it to be early (wasn't expecting it, but hopeful). Two, my cousin AKA the person I'll be playinf this with the most will be starting college, so less time to play. Three, I just want it now.

Wii U version really needs to come out before xmas.

Aww... I forgot August was part of summer... Nooo! I wanna play it now :S

 

Also Smash for Wii U will definitely come out before Xmas (that is if it doesn't get delayed), doesn't make sense to have a game come out a few days afterwards.
