Hi!

Quick one, I did the data transfer from my Wii to Wii U and therefore my downloaded games moved with it, including Mario 64. When I played this game in particular I used to use the Wii classic controller. I have since lost that controller (not sure how, not like me at all). I wanted to play Mario 64 today and realised I can't play it as I don't have a correct controller.

My question is this, if I buy the Wii U pro-controller will this work on my games that I used to use the Wii Classic controller for? I hope this makes sense!

Thanks for any help
:)

Hi,
Unfortunetly wii u pro controllers only work with wii u games, you will need to use a wii classic controller.

Sadly Wii classic controller series is discontinued as of last month. The upside is you can buy a US or Japan version online from ebay or some other retailer and would work fine.

Just go to some second party game store to buy one. That's what I'm doing in a weeks time, lots of people still trade in their old stuff for cash ! I know of two places around me that has them, if NOT there's always e-bay. Get one quick though before it's EVEN harder to get one !

you do know, of course, as soon as you buy the new one, the one you lost will mysteriously reappear.

It's a long way out, but if you are unable to find one, the just announced "GCN-inspired" controller that is to be released around the time of SSB4 is supposedly going to have the function of a Wii Classic Controller.

Since I don't have a Class Controller/Classic Controller Pro, that's what I'm going for.

I just search in Amazon, wii classic controller is a bit expensive but so good, here i also recommend you cheaper wii classic controller in Eachmall. I have own one, not gain from eachmall, but feel a bit regret.
